About the Experience
This 2-day journey blends industrial history, classic design, and natural beauty into one immersive photography escape. From the rusted poetry of Old Car City to the gleaming Savoy Museum, the seasonal landscapes of Gibbs Gardens, and the historic charm of Vickery Creek Falls & Roswell Mill, this tour balances nostalgia, artistry, and nature through the lens.

Who Can Join
Open to all skill levels – from smartphone explorers to professional photographers. Everyone will find creative inspiration, regardless of experience.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Saturday

• Departure from MARTA Parking Garage at Perimeter (Atlanta)


• Explore Old Car City (rust, textures, storytelling)


• Visit Savoy Automobile Museum (chrome, design, contrast)


• Evening → Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel in Cartersville

Day 2 – Sunday

• Morning session at Gibbs Gardens (blooms, landscapes, serenity)


• Stop at Vickery Creek Falls (historic mill ruins + waterfall photography)


• Return to MARTA Parking Garage at Perimeter (Atlanta)

• Portable power bank + charging cable


• Clip-on lenses (wide angle & zoom recommended)


• Cleaning cloth for lens

• Camera body + preferred lenses (wide, mid, telephoto)


• Extra memory cards


• Fully charged batteries + charger


• Tripod (recommended for Roswell Mill waterfalls)

Clothing & Essentials
