Experience the rhythm, color, and soul of Louisiana with The Paris of the South: A Photographic Chronicle, a 6-day, 5-night New Orleans Photo Tour led by world-renowned photographer Ramses Batista. Open to all levels—from smartphone photographers to professionals—this journey blends history, culture, and light in one of America’s most photogenic cities.

Begin in the French Quarter, capturing the energy of Bourbon, Royal, and Chartres Streets before dining at the legendary Antoine’s Restaurant. Travel to the Oak Alley Plantation to photograph its majestic oak-lined avenue, then watch the city glow from the Steamboat Natchez at sunset. Explore the wild beauty of the Louisiana bayou on a swamp tour, and capture haunting textures at St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, resting place of Marie Laveau. Ride the St. Charles Streetcar through the Garden District, step inside the color and creativity of Mardi Gras World, and document daily life around Jackson Square and St. Ann Street.

Throughout the week, you’ll receive expert guidance on light, composition, and storytelling while building a stunning visual chronicle of New Orleans. The experience includes six nights in the French Quarter, all meals, exclusive location access, and personalized coaching. Whether you’re chasing street scenes or fine art, this workshop transforms every frame into a story—capturing the true spirit of the “Paris of the South.”
